In the video posted below, 68-year-old Karen Huff Klein, a widow for the past 17 years, is the target for a bus full of bullies that launch verbal attacks at her, according to CNN.

“You’re an ugly fat [expletive]” and “You don’t have a family because they all killed themselves because they don’t want to be near you” are examples of the heartless words that brought Klein to tears.

The footage garnered national attention after being posted on Reddit.com , leading the Greece School District and police department to launch investigations into the matter.

But the publicity has also brought Klein an outpouring of kind words and financial support. A fundraiser titled “Let’s Give Karen - The bus monitor- H. Klein a vacation" has garnered $116,107 as of 6:00 a.m. more than $300,000 as of 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
