Seventeen Magazine has vowed to put down the air-brush and stop digitally altering model’s faces and bodies in images, according to the Daily Mail.

The decision took place after 14-year-old Julia Bluhm launched an online petition that challenged the magazine to use one unaltered photo each month.

The petition went viral, and August’s issue will feature a letter from the editor-in-chief which professes that the entire staff pledges to celebrate every kind of beauty.

This includes printing images of diverse body types, skin tones, heights and hair.
