Security experts are predicting this is the year smartphones will be a major target for cyber criminals.

The main reason is smartphones are increasingly being used as mobile wallets.

Smartphones are run on most of the same software people also use on their computers, making them an easy target for hackers.

But, the biggest security risk is just old-fashioned carelessness.

Data is most often taken from mobile phones when they are lost or stolen and aren't protected by a password.
