Photos of an octopus latching on to a dolphin off the coast of Greece are circling he internet Tuesday.
A scientist studying dolphins took the photos last week when noticing the bottlenose dolphin jumping out of the water with something hanging from its belly, according to an article on grindtv.com .
The scientist reportedly believes the dolphin tried to prey on the large octopus when the creature attached itself to avoid the attack.
The dolphin was eventually able to get free and return to swimming with three other dolphins in the Ionian Sea, according to the article. Read more.
