Felix Baumgartner may have become the first man to break the sound barrier without an airplane, but he wasn't without some competition.

Some enterprising Lego affcianados went to some great lengths to make their own version of Baumgartners history-making jump on Sunday from 128,000 feet.

Lego Man didn't quite reach that altitude, but the whole thing was pretty amazing just the same.

The video was posted on YouTube where is has received several hundred thousand views.

One person wrote, "lol my mom didn't realise (sic) it was legos until 1:22 (into the video), then she got mad at me for wasting her time."
