Law firm hands out 1000 turkeys to families in need

TAMPA - A Tampa Bay law firm handed out 1,000 turkeys for families in need Monday morning.
The Pendas Law Firm hosted the giveaway at their office, located on 816 W. Martin Luther King Boulevard, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
“We have so many families in the Tampa Bay area facing financial hardships due to the struggling economy. For some families, it has reached the point to where a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner is not possible,” said Luzardo Pendás, owner of the firm.
Pendás and his staff handed out one turkey per family to anyone who shows up.
