Today’s lesson that could potentially save your life comes from a Japanese TV show.

In an excerpt of the show posted on YouTube, a man and a woman are trapped in a car that's getting flooded with water and they must find a way out.

The woman removes her head rest from her seat, and at first, she bangs away at the window, using the two metal prongs on the headrest.

But she is finally able to escape once she wedges one of the prongs in the corner of the window and applies pressure, shattering the glass.
