MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - A Minnesota couple has started a blog about whether or not to have an abortion and they are asking the public to weigh in with a vote.
Alisha and Peter Arnold started the website birthornot.com , in which they have blogged about their expected child and the decision of whether or not to have an abortion.
The couple began the online vote because Alisha was still healing emotionally from the most recent of three miscarriages and the couple wasn't sure whether they were ready for a baby.
There has been speculation on whether or not the website is a hoax, an effort to influence the nation's debate on abortion or just an attempt at gaining attention.
The couple claims the decision is entirely legitimate and that they will consider the votes when making their final decision.
Alisha is now 17 weeks pregnant and the couple is taking votes until Dec. 7, two days before the deadline that they are legally allowed to have an abortion in their state.
