CLEARWATER, Fla. - The 10-day-long Sugar Sand Festival at Clearwater Beach began on Friday.
Visitors can walk through a tent full of huge, intricate sand creations in the Sand Walk Exhibit. There will also be a sand sculpting competition, sculpting clinics, speed sand demonstrations, a sandbox kids can play in, and even street performers and acrobats.
The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. At sunset, there is live entertainment and Sunset Cinema showings, and on April 27th there will be fireworks.
The cost to get into the festival is $7 for adults, $5 for students 13-18 years old and $5 for seniors 55 and up as well as military. Children 12 and under are FREE.
