When looking at online reviews, customers brag about the great meatballs and discounted meals at Zacchini Bar and Grill in Sarasota. And a tasty hot dog with all the toppings is what you could get at the Dreammaker Hot Dog Cart in St. Petersburg.
But it's the sanitary conditions at both locations that got our attention. Both places had perfect inspections over the last year.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) through the Division of Hotels and Restaurants inspects restaurants throughout the state. State inspectors can return for multiple visits stemming from one inspection until problems are corrected.
Both eateries received "zero" violations on every inspection over the last 12 months from its last inspection date, indicated below. Each report is a "snapshot" of conditions present at the time of the inspection.
