Legoland Florida features more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions in Polk County but one of its eateries is getting all of the attention this week! Sunny's Ice Cream Shop located inside Central Florida's newest theme park had some sweet inspection scores recently, with not one single violation all year long. A Better Scoop Ice Cream Shoppe in Sarasota also has those same tasty bragging rights along with hot dog stands in Hyde Park and St. Petersburg.
The bay area counties with eateries highlighted this week with no violations for the entire year include Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota Counties.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) through the Division of Hotels and Restaurants inspects restaurants throughout the state. State inspectors can return for multiple visits stemming from one inspection until problems are corrected.
The list below include seated and non-seated restaurants that received "zero" violations on every inspection over the last 12 months from its last inspection date, indicated below. Each report is a "snapshot" of conditions present at the time of the inspection.
