LUTZ, Fla. - Homes for Our Troops is breaking ground on an injured Marine's new home today in Lutz.
Corporal Justin Gaertner lost his legs in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010. He will be getting a new home built specially for him, but the project still needs donations of time, money and materials to be completed by year's end.
The project needs everything from drywall and concrete to contractors. To donate, you can head to the Homes for Our Troops website where you can learn more about Corporal Gaertner and the project, including how to donate.
