Getting to know Strawberry Festival Queen Kelsey Fry and her court with 10 questions for?

TAMPA - Are you ever curious about the real lives of politicians, celebrities, local newsmakers and athletes? Who are their mentors and who would they really like to meet?

Each Tuesday, ABC Action News asks 10 questions of a Bay area leader or celebrity. They're fun questions that let you get to know the person.

This week many of you enjoyed the annual Strawberry Festival. It's been a tradition in Plant City since 1930!

It seems to get bigger every year! Visitors from all over the Sunshine State and the world gather to enjoy all the sights and sounds.

The exhibits include, agriculture, commerce,crafts, horticulture, livestock, and fine arts.

That's not all there are plenty of social events including parades, and big name performers.

I personally love the kids area. I have take my little one, my nephews and children of dear friends for years. I have the most wonderful memories.

And of course, there is the food! Strawberry shortcake is just one of the many great tasting treats.

If you didn't have a chance to go this year, it might be something to start thinking about for next year.

But, as the successful event wrapped up, we thought how fun to feature the Strawberry Festival Queen and her court!

Kelsey Morgan Fry, 17, a senior at Plant City High School, took the crown this year, beating out 25 other contestants.

So far. these ladies are the youngest newsmakers that have answered 10 questions. I had to smile. I learned that Instagram is quite popular with 17 year olds and apparently Tim Tebow is a much desired dinner guest!

2. Do you have a Smartphone? If so, what's your favorite app?
I have an iphone and my favorite app is Instagram

3.Who do you count as your mentor(s)?
Ms. Sandee Sytsma

4. What was your very first job?
Working at my dad's plant liner nursery

5. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
aI've always wanted blue eyes!

6. What do you consider your greatest success?
Getting accepted to UWF and earning a swimming scholarship

7. Tell us something about you most people don't know?
I love corny jokes

8. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?
Jesus, Tim Tebow, and Si Robertson

9. What is in your fridge right now?
Ice cream, yogurt, and strawberries

10. If you could have a different career, other then what you're doing now, what would it be?
I'm in high school!
