Are you ever curious about the real lives of politicians, celebrities, local news makers and athletes? Who are their mentors and who would they really like to meet?
Each Tuesday, ABC Action News asks 10 questions of a Bay area leader or celebrity. They're fun questions that let you get to know the person.
This week, we hear from our former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and Super Bowl champion Tyrone Keys. From Jackson, Mississippi the former defensive lineman has made the bay area his home.
His career includes playing for the Chicago Bears. Keys was on the 1985 team that won the Super Bowl in 1986. They are also the team made famous by the song "The Super Bowl Shuffle" Keys was on the keyboard.
Interestingly, his Super Bowl team did not visit the White House after the big win, which is typically a tradition. It was the year the space shuttle Challenger exploded just minutes into flight, killing all seven crew members.
The visit to the White House was delayed for a quarter of a century. The team finally made the trip in 2011.
While Keys has many great moments in football with the Bears, Bucs and San Diego Chargers, it's his community work he is the most proud of.
Has given back in a big way. His All Sports Community Foundation reportedly has helped fund $22 million in scholarships and many of those students are now students and coaches in the Hillsborough County school system.
