Getting to know former Bachelorette contestant Nick Peterson with this week's '10 questions'

TAMPA - He was in the national spotlight as a contestant on the Bachelorette.

Nick Peterson of Tampa is back home and answering our 10 questions.

Several wanted to get to know Nick better since he was left heartbroken by Ashley Hebert.

Here's this week profile!

1.) What is your all time favorite movie or song?

My all-time favorite movie has to be Dumb & Dumber! I can recite that movie in my sleep! My favorite song changes weekly but right now it's Honeybee by Blake Shelton.

2.) . Do you have a Smartphone? If so, what's your favorite app?

I did have a smartphone until the other day when I tried to change the cracked screen myself and ended up with a pile of broken plastic parts. My favorite app on there was probably the Twitter app...I love posting health tips for my followers to read.

3.) Who do you count as your mentor(s)?

I've never really had an actual mentor but I have a wonderful family that has supported my dreams and has helped me get to where I am today.

4. What was your very first job?

Pulling out Christmas trees at a local Christmas tree lot!

5. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Maybe some bigger calves...but other than that, I'm pretty happy with how I am!

6. What do you consider your greatest success?

Being drafted by the Yankees out of college was definitely my greatest success. I played my whole life with that dream and while I didn't turn it into life-long career, I still consider it my greatest accomplishment.

7. Tell us something about you most people don't know?

I have a Pez collection of over 500 dispensers packed away!

8. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?

Arnold Schwarzenegger (to talk about his bodybuilding, not his morals!), any old baseball great, and my future wife!

9. What is in your fridge right now?

I need to go grocery shopping...but right now I have peanut butter (always), Chiobani plain greek yogurt, spicy hummus, Fiber One bars, pickles and a salad than needs to be eaten.

10. If you could have a different career, other than what you're doing now, what would it be?

A major country music artist.
