Are you ever curious about the real lives of politicians, celebrities, local newsmakers and athletes? Who are their mentors and who would they really like to meet?
Each Tuesday, ABC Action News asks 10 questions of a Bay area leader or celebrity. They're fun questions that let you get to know the person.
This past week, we watched as a major event hit our area: The Republican National Convention.
More than 50,000 people traveled to our community for the official nomination of Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate for President.
Among the crowd, delegates from across the United States. In the midst of it all, included the youngest delegate from the state of Florida.
This week, 24-year-old Chelsi Henry answers our 10 questions!
Henry, the youngest in Florida's 50 person delegation, is also among the youngest of the 2,286 total delegates.
Henry is a Florida native and is currently a third-year law student at Florida Coastal School of Law.
According to her website, Henry holds offices in eight different organizations, including a seat on Duval County's Soil and Water Conservation District which she was elected to fresh out of undergrad at University of North Florida.
She is quite a success story. Henry was born to a 16 year old mother and grew up on welfare.
She said she is the first Republican in her family.
After she won her Duval County seat in 2010, Henry was among those who applied and then was picked to represent Florida Delegation. Initially, the state had 99 delegates, but that number was cut in half as punishment after Florida moved up it's primary.
She has been asked on numerous occasions what she is planning on for her political future. Henry has said she want to continue to be a voice for her party.
Among her mentors, Condoleezza Rice.
