TAMPA, Fla. - A fire broke out in a house on Green Street in Tampa Saturday night, just before midnight. A dog, guinea pig and two baby chickens were rescued, but two other chickens died. Firefighters were able to put the blaze out quickly, but Tampa Fire officials say one firefighter did suffer minor injuries and had to be taken to St. Joseph’s hospital to be treated as a precaution. The people who lived at the home were not there at the time. Investigators are still trying to figure out what started the fire.
