LONDON (AP) -- Did it seem that Ozzy Osbourne was out of it during his show "The Osbournes"? Well, you weren't just imagining it.
Osbourne tells the BBC when filming was over, he'd go off to smoke a pipe and drink about a case of beer every day. He says he took prescription drugs too.
His wife, Sharon, knew about it. She says, "Ozzy was stoned the whole time. He wasn't sober for one day." Osbourne says he can't watch the show now because it's so obvious to him.
He says part of his drinking was because he was convinced Sharon was going to die when she was diagnosed with cancer. The show portrayed him as a recovering alcoholic. Osbourne says he's sober now.
