Man arrested for shooting woman in the neck

LARGO, Fla. - A woman is being hospitalized after getting shot in the neck during an attempted robbery in Pinellas County.
Deputies on patrol in a Largo neighborhood heard a gunshot and a woman screaming.
They found Brieonne Danielle Roiland injured and Pinellas County deputies arrested Trevon Lamar Griffin a short distance away.
Deputies believe Griffin held Roiland up at gunpoint and tried to rob her when she was shot. Griffin is facing charges of attempted 1st degree murder and attempted armed robbery.
The condition of the woman is unknown.
