TAMPA BAY, Fla. - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Wednesday, July 13.
(1) Bucs Ring of Honor announcement
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will officially announce the third member to join the team's Ring of Honor on Wednesday.
ABC Action News learned former tight end Jimmie Giles will join Lee Roy Selmon and former Head Coach John McKay during an induction ceremony sometime this season.
Giles was a four-time Pro-Bowler. He played 13 seasons, nine of those years with the Bucs. He is considered to be one of the most productive tight ends of his era.
The Ring of Honor was introduced at Raymond James Stadium in 2009 when the Bucs first wore their "creamsicle" orange throwback jerseys.
During today's 11:00 a.m. announcement carried live on Buccaneers.com , the team will announce at which game the ceremonies for Giles will take place at.
(2) Free children's dental exams
The Pinellas County Health Department is offering free back-to-school dental exams and X-rays for children and teens ages 4 to 18 who are new clients at any of its five dental clinics starting on Wednesday.
Today's free clinics occur at the PCHD offices at 12420 130th Avenue North in Largo and at 301 South Disston Avenue in Tarpon Springs.
Additional clinics will be held on July 20 in St. Petersburg, and on July 27 in Pinellas Park. All clinics will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Children and teens for these events must be residents of Pinellas County except for today's exams at the Tarpon Springs office where Pasco and Hillsborough children will also be seen.
A parent or guardian must accompany the child or teen. No appointments are necessary. Call your nearest center for more information.

(3) Florida job crisis report
Florida International University's Research Institute on Social and Economic Policy and the national policy center Demos will co-publish a paper on Wednesday outlining Florida's jobs crisis.
Under Attack: Florida's Middle Class and the Job Crisis will be released and presented during at 10:00 a.m. press teleconference.
The report details how Floridians are struggling to obtain good jobs, the declining access to benefits, and higher costs to raise children.
Among the findings: more than half of the state's workers have no access to a retirement plan at work; union members in Florida is half the national average; and, the state's annual unemployment rate in 2010 at 11.5% was the highest in 30 years.

(4) Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Hard rocker Joan Jett will bring her band the Blackhearts to the Hard Rock Cafe Tampa on Wednesday night.
She had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles including such classics as I Love Rock 'N' Roll, Bad Reputation, and Crimson and Clover.
Jett is only one of two women named to Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest guitar players of all time.
The talented Jett has acted in movies including 1987's Light of Day, and in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She has also overseen the production multiple albums as a producer..

(5) LeakyCon 2011
Over a thousand fans of JK Rowling's boy wizard Harry Potter will attend an five-day academic conference in Orlando beginning on Wednesday less than 48 hours before the final Potter movie opens in theaters.
LeakyCon 2011 is a charity conference featuring workshops and round table about the Potter world. The life lessons, morals and ideas found in Rowling's books will be discussed.
Other events include wizard rock concerts, Quidditch games, movie screenings and special programs for teens 13-17 years of age.
LeakyCon 2011 will benefit The Harry Potter Alliance and Book Aid International which promote literacy around the globe.
The conference takes place at the Royal Pacific Hotel at the Universal Orlando Resort, a short boat ride from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.
