TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Friday, September 27.
(1) Sean Hannity in Sarasota
Conservative television and radio host Sean Hannity will be in Sarasota on Friday.
Hannity is the guest of honor at the Republican Party of Sarasota County's Statesman of the Year event.
The event is one of the biggest fundraising events this year for the GOP in Sarasota County.

(2) Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival opens on Friday at Walt Disney World.
The 46-day festival features food-and-beverage marketplaces, concerts, special book signings, cultural adventures and premium dining events.

(3) Super Boat National Championship
The three day Super Boat National Championship opens on Friday in Clearwater. The event brings the world's fastest and most famous powerboats for races that take place just off the shore of Clearwater Beach
The boats are equipped with F-16 canopies that can reach extreme speeds of 180 mph. Each race team consists of a two-person team: a driver who controls the boat's steering and a throttleman responsible for operating up to four engines.
The event kicks off with a Super Boat Block Party that includes a parade of boats down Cleveland Street tonight. Hulk Hogan will be the Grand Marshal of the event. The Block Party starts at 5:30 p.m. and features live music and a variety of street vendors.

(4) Howl-O-Scream opens
Howl-O-Scream opens at Busch Gardens on Friday.
This year's fright-fest features new haunted houses and scare zones. Howl-O-Scream is contains violence, gore and blood. It is not intended for children.
Guests wearing costumes will not be permitted into the park.
Howl-O-Scream runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through October 26.You can see $39 off general admission ticket prices by purchasing your Howl-O-Scream ticket in advance at participating Publix Supermarkets or AAA offices.

(5) ZooBoo Shriek Peek preview weekend
Lowry Park Zoo hosts a special Shriek Peek Preview Weekend of its ZooBoo Halloween event on Friday.
ZooBoo is gives kids of all ages the thrills and chill of Halloween without the gore. There are five different "haunts" rated with skulls to indicate the scare factor involved.
This year's newest haunt is the French Quarter Phantoms 3D. Guests will explore the secret and sinister side of New Orleans. There is a mysterious mansion to discover, a dark bayou to cross and spirits to avoid.
During the Shriek Peek Preview Weekend, admission to ZooBoo is only $12 per person.
Admission to all other nights is $18 for adults, $14 for children ages 3 to 11. Annual Zoo Pass holders receive discounted admission.
