TAMPA - Here are five things you need to know happening in Florida on Friday, August 30.
(1) Rehabilitated loggerhead sea turtle released
Mote Marine Laboratory will release a rehabilitated loggerhead sea turtle into the Gulf of Mexico on Friday.
"Farfalle" was rescued from a crab trap in May a mile offshore of Siesta Key beach. The rope from the trap encircled her neck, causing a deep laceration.
Mote staff brought her to the center's Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital. She was given fluid therapy along with antibiotics.
After recovering for months, veterinarians medically cleared "Farfalle" to be returned to the wide.
She will be released at 8:30 a.m. near the northernmost lifeguard tower on Lido Beach in Sarasota.

(2) MOSI After Dark and Food Truck Rally
The Museum of Science & Industry holds another After Dark and Food Truck Rally on Friday.
The after-hours event will feature $5 discounted admission to MOSI's exhibits. There will also be music, games and four food trucks: Renny's Oki Doki, Maggie on the Move, Rollin' Zoinks and Monsta Lobsta.
It is also the final weekend for the Monsters Revealed exhibition at MOSI. It features the world's largest plastinated sea creatures. The exhibition closes on September 2.
Admission to the Sea Monsters Revealed is regular price during tonight's After Dark event.

(3) Blake Shelton in concert
Country superstar Blake Shelton brings his Ten Times Crazier tour to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday night.
His last Bay Area show in March at the Florida Strawberry Festival sold out.
Shelton is best known for #1 hits Some Beach and She Wouldn't Be Gone.
Last November he won Country Music Association's Award for Entertainer of the Year. Shelton also took how the CMA awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for Over You which he co-wrote with his wife, Miranda Lambert.
Opening up tonight for Shelton will be Florida native Easton Corbin.

(4) Florida Atlantic Owls vs. Miami Hurricanes
The Miami Hurricanes football team will open up their 2013 season at home on Friday against the Florida Atlantic Owls.
Tonight's game will be the first time the two teams have ever faced each other on the gridiron.
What makes the matchup more interesting is the connection they share. Howard Schnellenberger was the legendary coach who created "The U" brand in the early 1980s for Miami. Schnellenberger would later go on to build the FAU football team.
Schnellenberger will be the honorary captain for both teams tonight. Miami is also going to honor the 1983 national championship-winning team during the game.
Kick off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPNU.
(5) High school football week one
The first full week of high school football action kicks off all across the Bay Area tonight.
Two highly anticipated games involving former Buccaneers are on the schedule in Pinellas County.
Former Bucs Mike Alstott and Dave Moore will be on opposite sides of the field tonight. Alstott is the head football coach for Northside Christian. Moore is the coach for Shorecrest Prep.
The game between the Mustangs and Chargers is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
In Clearwater, new Tornadoes head coach Donnie Abraham's team will take on the Tarpon Springs Spongers at 7:30 p.m.
ABC Action News will air highlights of high school football games on ABC Action News at 11.
