SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. - On Wednesday, May 1, schools across the country took part in the "Let's Move" campaign. It was started by first lady Michelle Obama in 2011, to fight obesity in children.
This year students at Espiritu Santo Catholic School in Safety Harbor participated in "Let's Move" by filling up the schools gymnasium and moving in unison.
Some of the moves included running in place, raising their knees as high as possible and raising their arms over their heads.
The students are showing their commitment to staying active along with drinking more water to combat the nation's childhood obesity epidemic.
