WASHINGTON, D.C. - First lady Michelle Obama is teaming up with Sesame Street's Big Bird to encourage kids to eat healthy. The pair has filmed two public service announcements. One was filmed in the kitchen of the white house.
The commercials will air on PBS stations around the country. The PSAs encourage kids to eat fruits, vegetables and stay active.
They PSAs were unveiled as part of the third anniversary of "Let's Move." It's Mrs. Obama's initiative to curb childhood obesity.
Next week the first lady will kick-off a two day nationwide tour to celebrate the anniversary.
