Florida Department of Education releases controversial school district rankings

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The state released its controversial rankings of Florida school districts on Monday.

Three districts in the Tampa Bay area - Sarasota, Sumter and Citrus - finished in the top 20. The rest were in the bottom half of Florida's 67 school districts.
