ABC Action News will re-broadcast the 2012 Taking Action Against Domestic Violence Primetime Special this weekend, Saturday, October 27th 3:05AM – 4:05AM and Sunday, October 28th Noon – 1PM.
The 1-hour, commercial-free program is hosted by ABC Action News’ Lissette Campos, Wendy Ryan, Deiah Riley and Jamison Uhler.
This year’s stories include in-depth exclusives with DV Survivor Melissa Dohme of Clearwater and Police Officer Stacy Booth of Auburndale – who was nearly killed responding to a domestic violence call. New this year, see what ABC Action News and the Tampa Bay Times’ Newspaper in Education program are doing to teach teens about the danger signs of dating abuse and learn more about the Tampa Bay area’s primary prevention programs called DELTA.
