TAMPA - The airplane transporting the Hakken family from Cuba back to the United States landed at Tampa International Airport early Wednesday morning.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says Cole and Chase Hakken will be reunited with their maternal grandparents.
Joshua and Sharyn Hakken were transported and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail around 2:30 a.m.
Each is facing two counts of Kidnapping, two counts of Interference in Child Custody, two counts of Child Neglect and one count of Burglary with a Battery.
The grandparents have asked to give them at least 24 hours of privacy with their grandchildren. They may speak with the media as early as Thursday.
