PALMETTO, Fla. - Manatee County Detectives are investigating the theft of a semi-truck full of food.
According to a report from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Keith Huffman reported his 1999 Peterbuilt Semi Tractor and trailer missing Saturday morning.
Inside the trailer was $150,000 in steaks and seafood.
Huffman told deputies that he locked the truck and set the alarm but no broken glass was found where the truck was last seen.
Deputies say Huffman checked on the truck around 9 p.m. Friday.
The trailer and semi were latered found in Orlando, but all the cargo was gone.
Investigators estimate of the total loss is $207,000.
