Home Depot hiring for spring in Tampa Bay area

TAMPA - Home Depot is increasing its spring hiring by 10 percent this year. The company is looking to fill 80,000 seasonal positions, with about 1,350 new hires expected here in the Tampa Bay area.
Spring usually is the busiest time for the giant home improvement chain.
"We find some of our best associates during our peak season, and many of them have built long, meaningful careers with us," said Home Depot Human Resource VP Tim Crow in a statement.

Home Depot employs some 300,000 workers in more than 2,250 stores in the U.S.
