The Odwalla company is voluntarily recalling a limited amount of their Chocolate Protein Monster beverages in the U.S. after severe allergic reactions were reported.
The reactions stem from people with peanut and/or tree nut allergies, according to their website.
While they have not identified what’s caused the allergens, they say those that have suffered from drinking the beverage so far have these allergies.
The company says they’ve identified where the shipments in question were sent and are working to remove them.
The following are recalled Odwalla Chocolate Protein Monster beverages:
12-oz bottle pack- UPC Code: 14054 13509
32-oz bottles- UPC Code:14054 13504

Anyone consumer that has purchased the identified product should return it to where it was purchased for exchange or refund.
