Two sweet Dachshunds named "Fred" and "Ginger" are looking for a forever home. Fred is a 4 year-old chocolate smooth coat Dachshund and Ginger is a 2 1/2 year old red smooth coat. Fred is Ginger's father. They were surrendered to Dachshund Adoption Rescue & Education (DARE) together, and although they had never lived together before coming into foster care, they get along really well with each other and are working on their social skills.
Fred was kept in an outside kennel for breeding and Ginger is very shy and takes a while to warm up to people. They were brought to foster care a couple weeks ago, so DARE is still evaluating how they do around kids, cats, and strangers, but they are very sweet. They are up to date on their shots.
You can take a look at their Facebook album , too!
For more information on adopting Fred and Ginger, head to the website at www.daretorescue.com to fill out an application.
Dox-a-Palooza is also coming up onSaturday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Sun N Fun Pavilion! You can find more information about that on the DARE website .
