"Dash"

Tampa, Fla. - Far from the raucous festivities of Gasparilla and the NFL grid iron, a doe-eyed doggie rescued from barbaric cruelty is enjoying quiet recovery. Rudolph (ID#1494419) was seized from a suspected dog fighting operation during the holidays. His wounds were still oozing during a press conference as he gently wagged his tail and greeted reporters. Hillsborough County Animal Services won custody and needs a foster home or a forever home to help this deserving dog heal from his wounds. Rudolph is a special needs boy and should be the only dog in the home for at least a short period of time during his recovery period.
"DASH" is a two-year old mocha-chocolate hued Chihuahua with hazel eyes. Dash was found as a stray and is a little shy at first, but quickly bonds with caregivers. Dash (ID#1509852) can be fully adopted, and is neutered/microchipped/vaccinated/licensee and more as part of the "Super Sunday Special." Meet Dash and Rudolph at the Hillsborough County Animal Services on Falkenburg Road, Tampa, open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
