Chris Koetke, host of "Let's Dish" on the Living Well network creates a recipe for sautéed spicy garlic spinach.
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2-3
10 oz. bag baby spinach or large spinach leaves that have been de-stemmed
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
2 pinches chile flake
3 pinches salt
1 pinch sugar
2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1. In a large sauté pan, heat the olive oil over high heat. Add garlic and chile flake. Cook for just 30 seconds. Add spinach and stir continually until the spinach softens and shrinks considerably in size. This will only take a few minutes.
2. As the spinach cooks, season with salt and sugar.
3. Remove from the pan and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
