Recipe for Mini Sub Sandwiches:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
Serves: 3 (2 mini subs per person)
1 package frozen garlic bread sticks (10.5 oz)
12 mini fresh mozzarella balls, cut into 3 slices each
30 slices pepperoni, cut in half
Tomato, sliced and cut into strips
Assorted dipping sauces (below)
1. Bake bread sticks in oven per manufacturer’s direction.
2. Slice breadsticks lengthwise, keeping the bread attached on one side.
3. Spread a light coating of mayonnaise on each side of the bread. Fill with ingredients as for a submarine sandwich. Serve with dipping sauces.
• Ranch dressing
• Honey mustard mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1 ½ Tablespoon honey mustard
½ Tablespoon water
• Tomato sauce (perfect for soaking into the bread):
½ cup V8 juice
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Hot sauce to taste
