USF Police: Rape reported in Marshall Center restroom

TAMPA - USF police say a male victim  filed a report yesterday claiming he was raped by another man in the restroom at the Marshall Center.

The incident allegedly took place on the afternoon on January 18th.

USF spokeswoman Lt. Charlotte Domingo says the two males are not USF students but are affiliated with the University.  She could not provide specifics about their association with the university.  She also says the two men knew each other.

No arrests have been made and case is still under investigation.  University police ask that anyone who was in the area at the time and who might have seen or heard anything, to please call University Police at 974-2628
