Tampa - Island Nights at Adventure Island lets you take a Caribbean vacation without leaving Tampa.
Each Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the water park transforms into an exotic island getaway.
Stiltwalkers and a steel drum band will greet visitors. You’ll find Polynesian dancers and a skilled fire performer on the main beach and family-friendly DJ’s will entertain the crowd with games and music on Adventure Island’s two beaches.
How about a taste of island cuisine? Each night chefs will prepare “island” offerings like coconut shrimp and conch fritters.
Visitors also have access to all of the park’s rides and slides including Riptide, Wahoo run, Key West Rapids, Runaway Rapids, Everglides, Calypso Coaster, Aruba Tuba, Caribbean Corkscrew, Water Moccasin and Gulf Stream. There’s a 17,000-square-foot wave pool and professional sand volleyball courts.
Adventure Island is across the street from Busch Gardens at 4500 Bougainvillea Avenue in Tampa. The Island Nights celebrations is each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from June 10 to August 14. On those nights the park is open to 9p.m.
Adult admission is $41.95. Tickets for children aged 3-9 years old are $37.95. Admission for children 2 and under is free. Parking is $12.
