HOUSTON - If you’re gonna bail on your girlfriend, you might not want to do it in front of thousands of people, on television.

But that’s exactly what a fan at a Houston Astros fan recently did. As a foul ball was approaching him and his girlfriend Sara, the fan, named Bo, prepared to catch it.

But at the last second, he bailed, allowing the ball to strike Sara in the arm.

In a YouTube video that has gone viral in the last few days, Sara can be seen chastising him immediately after she was hit (she was slightly bruised but otherwise okay) and she and a Fox Sports reporter jokingly chastise “Bo the Bailer” for his shameless act.

Bo told the reporter he lost the ball in the lights.

A Facebook page has already been set up, hoping to gather ‘likers’ that think Bo is a ‘loser’ for bailing on his girlfriend.

ESPN's John Kruk called Bo a 'tool' and Yahoo! Sports dubbed the incident the " Worst Date Ever ."

But Sara doesn’t seem to be too phased by the incident.

“Yall are being to hard on him!” she wrote on the Facebook page. “It didnt even hurt.”

Take a look at the video below, and tell us what you think. If you were his girlfriend, would you bail on Bo the Bailer?
