"I'm Batman."
Those are the words you be saying over and over after playing Rocksteady's latest effort, Batman: Arkham City.
First things first, this game is absolutely beautiful. Everything looks as it you'd expect in Gotham City: dark and gritty. The developers went to great lengths to ensure that you get a real sense of Gotham.
The visuals aren't the only thing that will amaze in Arkham City. The story draws you in and continues to pull you in deeper as you continue to play.
Brilliant storytelling is complemented by fantastic voice acting and a haunting soundtrack that will have the hair on the back of your neck standing up.
Intuitive controls allow you to tackle a variety of tasks and a gang of villains fit for a superhero.
Batman's gadgets are prominently showcased in the game as well, allowing you to zip around the city or disappear into the night.
Arkham City may be amazing, but it isn't flawless. The two dimensional map is confusing and defeating villains can be easy and repetitive at times.
Those two minor issues aside, Arkham City is nearly flawless and well worth your time and money.
Batman: Arkham City is available for XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3.
