St. Petersburg - Thousands of professional and amateur dancers competed in the Millennium Dancesport Championships at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg this past weekend.

The competition featured children, amateur and professional competitors all vying for $125,000 in cash and prizes. Children and amateurs competed during the morning sessions. Professional couples danced during the evening.

Celebrity dancer Tony Dovolani of “Dancing With the Stars” is judged the six days of ballroom dancing competition. The competition began on Tuesday, June 22nd and ended on Sunday, June 27th.

Ticket prices range from $20 to $125.
