"10 Questions for...” is a lighthearted way for our web users to learn more about community leaders, athletes and politicians across Florida.
I am launching this new segment with me! I have answered these fun questions.

10 Questions for Sarina Fazan
1. What is your all time favorite movie or song?
My favorite movie is an older one. It was No Way Out. Do you remember it? The stars were Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman. I loved it because of the twist at the end.
As far as music, those who know me laugh. I know so little about music! I am stuck in the 80's still.
2. Do you have a Smartphone? If so, what's your favorite app?
The camera! I love taking pictures of my family and friends. Whenever I have a tough moment or an interview that is especially emotional, I look at the photo's. It helps me.
3. Who do you count as your mentor(s)?
People in my newsroom. Brendan McLaughlin and Linda Hurtado have always been two people I look up to. They are truly the classiest people I know.
But, first and foremost, I credit my parents for the becoming a caring and responsible adult.
4. What was your very first job?
I worked for *free* in Rockford, Illinois at a T.V. Station! I wanted to be in this business so badly and I could not get a job because I did not have a resume tape.
I finally got one together and landed a morning anchor job in the Quad Cities. Those are 4 cities between Illinois and Iowa. I was so happy!
5. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I wish I wasn't so sensitive. I take things pretty hard sometimes.
6. What do you consider your greatest success?
Having my daughter Samantha. People tell you all the time wait until you have a baby! You nod politely-and then it happens. I look at her face everyday and am so grateful to have her. She and my husband Dave are not only my greatest successes, but my greatest treasures.
7. Tell us something about you most people don't know?
I was born left handed. But, I was switched to write and do everything else with my right hand. I went to a Catholic school and the nuns felt that was the appropriate measure. I think it led to some confusion in my life. I used to stutter and was in speech therapy for years. The therapist thought part of that could have been the switch!
8. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would they be?
Without a doubt, Princess Diana. I idolized her as a child. She is the first one that comes to mind. Following, Abraham Lincoln, for all he did and the principles he stood for, as well as Benjamin Franklin. I am fascinated with his forethought.
9. What is in your fridge right now?
Avocados and coconut popsicles!
10. If you could have a different career, other then what you're doing now, what would it be?
Ok, I'll admit it. I would love to be the host for the Bachelor/Bachelorette! I love those shows! Here's way, I'm in love with love. I'm constanting setting people up and have a record to prove. I've set up seven couples who tied the knot.
