Our friends at Good Morning America have a very special announcement Thursday morning!
The big news has to do with co-host Robin Roberts who has been out since early September after being diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome or MDS, a rare blood disorder. Roberts received a bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally-Ann and has since been recovering at home.
Last month Roberts made a live appearance on GMA from her New York City home. She announced her plans to return to air sometime this month.
Roberts has been going through dry runs on the GMA set and readjusting to her old surroundings.
Stay tuned to ABC Action News for the big announcement!
