Dashcam video of country singer Randy Travis' DUI released

Texas Police have now released the dashcam video of country music star Randy Travis' arrest earlier this month.

In the video, Travis appears dumbfounded that he is being arrested. When an officer tells him that he is going to jail, he respond, "Are you kidding me?"

Officer: "You're going to jail for public intoxication.
Travis: Really?
Officer: Yeah.
Travis: Are you kidding me?
Officer: No sir. I'm not going to kid ya.
Travis: You're kidding me.
Officer: No. I'm going to be completely honest with you."

Travis was arrested on suspicion of being drunk after police spotted his vehicle parked in front of a church. Officers say Travis smelled like alcohol and an open bottle of wine was found in the vehicle.

Police say they couldn't verify Travis' identity at the time because he didn't have an ID on him.

Travis has since apologized for his arrest, saying it was the result of a Super Bowl party.
