TWILIGHT star ASHLEY GREENE has signed up to front a new campaign aimed at stamping out domestic violence.

Greene has become the celebrity spokesperson for Glamour magazine's Tell Somebody campaign.

As part of her role, the actress will work to encourage girls all over the world to speak up for themselves if they, or someone they know, are engaged in an abusive relationship.

Stepping in front of the camera to record a public service announcement, she says, "Dating violence affects all kinds of woman. Young, old, educated, powerful, rich, poor... Nearly one in four woman are physically assaulted or raped by their partners... Tell somebody."

Actresses Emma Stone, Lily Collins and Zombieland's Amber Heard have also recorded messages for the video, appearing alongside former domestic violence victims.
