Beyonce gushes about Jay-Z during Oprah chat

BEYONCE has paid the ultimate tribute to her husband JAY-Z, telling OPRAH WINFREY he makes her the woman she is.

The R&B superstar beamed with pride and joy as she opened up about her marriage to the rap mogul during a sit down TV chat with Winfrey, which will air on Saturday (16Feb13).

She told Oprah, "I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It just gives me such a foundation."

And she adds, "We were friends first... Before we went on any dates, we were on the phone for a year and a half. That foundation is so important in a relationship, and just to have someone that you just like is so important - and someone that is honest!"

Beyonce also opened up about her relationship with her father and former manager Mathew Knowles in the candid chat, which will air on Winfrey's OWN network just before the debut of the Single Ladies hitmaker's new TV documentary Life is But a Dream.
