ADELE dedicated her first Golden Globe award win to her newborn son as she returned to the spotlight for the first time since becoming a mom last year (12).

The star picked up the prize for Best Original Song for her Bond theme tune Skyfall at the glitzy Los Angeles event on Sunday (13Jan13), and revealed she was enjoying her night out after spending the last few months looking after her son, who was born in October (12).

The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker told the star-studded audience, "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. Honestly I came for a night out - with my friend Ayda - we're new moms. I was not expecting this. Thank you so much.

"Very strange to be here, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night, it's amazing - and we've been p**sing ourselves laughing!"

The soul sensation finally composed herself, and thanked her boyfriend Simon Konecki and their newborn, whose name is still not known.

She added, "I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press, I never thought I'd say that. And this is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it... and my lovely son. Thank you so much."
