If you're in the market for child safety seats, your options just got better, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The New York Times is reporting that of the 17 new 2012 booster seats reviewed by the organization, 15 received the coveted, "best bet" rating.

This represents the highest number of top-rated seats since 2008, when the IIHS began evaluating the seats.

The "best bet" rating indicates that the seat would be safe and effective for a typical 4-year-old to 8-year-old in almost any car, minivan or SUV.
