TAMPA BAY, FL -- A large ridge of high pressure north of Florida will keep bringing us brisk northeast to east winds, mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and little chance of rain through the weekend.

Boaters should beware, a small craft advisiry has been issued for the entire Bay area, becasue of winds that will average around 20 knots throughout the weekend.

Highs will stay in the low 80s over most of the area both today and tomorrow.

IN THE TROPICS: Tropical Storm Ida is now moving back over the warm waters of the Western Caribbean and should regain strength.  The projected track brings Ida into the Gulf just west of Tampa Bay by Thursday.  Stay tuned!

Have a GREAT Tampa Bay Weekend!
