Overnight Update: Ida forms...

Reported by: Denis Phillips

Last Update: 11/04 8:56 pm
Tropical Storm Ida has formed.  Based on the time of the year, and the location of the storm, we need to keep our eyes on it.  It's not a huge threat, based on shear and other variables, but there is still some potential for this to effect Florida next week.

It pretty much boils down to whether or not Ida moves into Central America. If it does, she will weaken significantly.   If not, she will likely turn into a hurricane.  We'll know in the next 12 to 24 hours.  Stay tuned.

Until then, our weather will be great with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures.  Highs each day will flirt with 80 degrees.

   Have a great day!
