TAMPA BAY, FL -- Things are getting back to normal weather-wise. . .  just in time for the holiday weekend!

Skies will be partly sunny on the Fourth of July with isolated to scattered showers and storms later in the day.

More sunshine means warmer, OK, hotter temperatures -- with highs reaching into the low 90s.  Heat index readings will be in the 100-105 range from 2 pm on.

As always -- with the "Summertime Pattern" -- there could be a few storms delaying fireworks a bit, but the widespread rains of a few days ago are gone.

Enjoy a safe and happy Independence Day!
