TAMPA BAY, FL -- Things in the Accu-Weather Center are getting back to "normal" again. . .  just in time for the holiday weekend!

With all that tropical moisture on the wane, skies will be partly sunny on the Fourth of July with isolated scattered showers and storms later in the day.

More sunshine means warmer temperatures -- with highs reaching into the low 90s.  Heat index readings will be in the 100-105 range from 2 pm on.

As always -- with the "Summertime Pattern" of showers -- there could be a few storms delaying fireworks a bit, but the widespread rains of a few days ago are gone.

Enjoy a safe and happy Independence Day!
